01/17/2003 - 11:13 a.m. | never ending

Oh, man... I'm trying to hold onto that last bit of coherence, but I'm fading fast here... Cereal will keep me going.

It made sense to stay up 'til 6 and see Spritz off. It did. I mean, it's nothing out of the ordinary for us, and this way we'd have full Spritz exposure before his wild weekend of drugs and blowjobs. Unfortunately, we arrived at the train station, killed some time (much of which was spent trying to figure out how to heist the three metal statues of skating downs children), and learned that the train, due at 6 am, would be 2.5 hours late. Fiddlesticks.

So we went to Perkins. We don't sleep anymore; we just ate like 6 dinners. Well, all I had was toast, and it was pretty subpar, but nevertheless. We also discussed the plans of the evolved lizard people (they're trying to take over the human race, but they're poorly disguised as fat humans) and how to kill/arson somebody. Arson is not a verb, I know. Give me some headway.

Anyway, this killed about an hour, tops. So we got back to the train station and talked for a bit. Then, Kyle and Spritz decided to go sleep in a corner. I stayed up because I really wasn't feeling bad yet, and I felt someone should make sure we didn't miss the train or get attacked (more on that in a bit). Let's see... I people watched, but they didn't do much... I tried to make this girl think I was obsessed with her, but I don't think she noticed. I read the Spanish newspaper until my brain couldn't work through it, then I moved onto classifieds in the Thirfty Nickel (pygmy goat for $20!! It'd run around the apartment and eat paper and poop everywhere!) I swear I am typing the correct letters, but it's getting so hard to focus. For instance, I spent a good deal of time reminding myself that it is, in fact, Friday.

Eventually, Kyle and Spritz woke up, and after around 4 hours, the train finally came. It was a dramatic four hours, really. See, when we got there, there was this tall, Kareem Abdul Jabarish looking guy there with his lady friend. We later noticed that a cop had come in and was talking to this guy with several security guards and checking his ID and stuff. Strange. We tried to eavsdrop, but we were having a tough time, so we let it go. Then, after Perkins, we thought he was gone, but Spritz ended up peeing right next to him! And he was all jumpy and antsy, so we sorta thought something was up. Kyle did a little detective work and overheard him say something on the phone about "she says I hit her or something... that's my problem" Interesting... And then, while they were both asleep, I saw a cop come up and lug the guy's stuff off. I followed behind him and watched as they escorted him (handcuffed) to a police car. Oh, the drama.

After that, Kyle and I had an insane-o, last moment of energy drive to his parents house, where they all told me how shitty I looked (I was told by 2 separate people that my eyes look like "piss holes in a snow bank"). Then Kyle and I drove his car to the mechanics and we spaced off in the car until Kyle's dad came. Then after an extended drive back, we got here, and I am bloody exhausted. I mean, 21 hours without sleep doesn't seem so bad, but it feels it, I guess.

hahaha - maybe I should shower first!

I won't be soothed,
Nate
