It woulda been another awful sleepy Japanese Lit class if Emanuel hadn't shown my favorite PBS show ever!! "LONELY PLANET!" It's this travel show, but you really don't learn anything about any other countries by watching it. Ian Wright, this cute British guy, is the host, and he's always all happy and makes awkward British jokes. Most of the show is him randomly walking about, trying to find someone to speak English to. Then he does wacky stuff and makes jokes. They show, like, 30 seconds of Japanese religion and then 5 minutes of Ian skiing because he's bad at it and falls over a lot. Edutainment. It certainly woke me up this morning.
